Why study it?
Marine biologists learn all about the oceans. Marine biologists investigate costal areas, seas, oceans and mangroves and all the organisms that live in them, and the way they interact with their environment.
Marine biology is for anyone who has an interest in coral reefs, the fish, mammals and invertebrates that live in the ocean, birds that use the ocean and marine plant life.
Career options.
Marine biologists have a broad range of options available to them. A marine biologist could work as an environmental tourism officer, a marine consultant, or field researcher. They also work in aquariums, a laboratories, and as teachers.
