Chemists learn about the smallest building blocks, the atom. They learn about how these atoms work, and interact with other atoms to produce the substance that makes the world around us. Everything you can touch and taste or smell is the result of chemistry!

 

Chemistry provides a foundation for a number of other scientific disciplines, like medicine, biology and forensics.
