Why study it?
Geology can be studied as major in many science courses. Geologists study the Earth, the resources that come from it, and the effect climate has.
Geology is for anyone who is interested in understanding the processess that effect the Earth; how it was formed, and the changes that continue to change its' composition and structure.
Career options.
Geologists can find employment in a number of settings; as climate change researchers, in the mining industry and petroleum exploration, governmental departments as well as in environmental management.
